City of Weston General Election to be Held: The City of Weston is scheduled to have its general election on June 13th. Polls will be open from 6am-6pm. All four council seats and the mayor’s seat will be on the ballot. There are four wards in Weston and if you are not aware of the ward in which you reside, you may contact the City Clerk for clarification. Early voting will be held May 31st, 2023 through June 10th, 2023 at the City Municipal Building. The voting hours will be regular business hours during the week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Poll locations and candidates for each ward are listed below: Mayor Kim Harrison-Edwards Ward 1 (Polls located at the LC EMS Building) Sherry Rogers Ward 2 (Polls located at the LC Senior Citizens Building) Danny Neal Dora Pratt Steven White Ward 3 (Polls located at Real Life Church) Debbie Gump Ward 4 (Polls located at the Weston Fire Dept.) Herb Curtis Candidates have until March 14th to withdraw their candidacy. Absentee ballot applications are currently being accepted at City Hall. Those applications will be accepted until May 31. Applications can be picked up at the City Municipal Building Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The Weston City Municipal Building is located at 102 W. Second Street in Weston.
